How Much Do Effective SEO Packages Cost?

Finding high quality SEO packages can be a difficult task for any business, and the process is made more difficult by figuring out how best to gauge the price of any provider’s offer. All commercial outfits have different budgets for these sorts of outlays and there are SEO packages that can suit nearly everyone. The most important thing is to be sure of getting a good deal, as value-for-money in this area can be the catalyst for high-quality, high-efficiency growth. This article looks at some of the things a customer should look for when setting their budget.

What Should You Expect to Pay?

MacBook Pro and falling dollars

You will find that many providers of SEO packages will offer their services in a three-tiered system, suggesting different pricing structures that cohere with different levels of research and effort. It is likely that these tiers will be aligned with the number of keywords that the provider will be targeting in its optimisation strategy. There should be between 10 and 50 keywords across the three tiers, with only 10 of these being the integral keywords to target. Any more than this and it’s likely that the provider is overplaying their hand.

Return on Investment

turned on phone viewing analytics
A key way of assessing what price to pay for any SEO packages is to work out what you can expect in return. This is a four-step process and can be decisive in the decision to work with an SEO provider. Firstly, work out what sort of traffic you can expect from your keywords using Google’s planner which shows you the monthly volume of different searches. If you’re on the front page of a search engine you can expect around 17% of those searches to come to your site.

Google analytics can help you to work out conversion rates for your type of business which gets your revenue figure. From there the profit that a good package can deliver is easily arrived at, which can help you make long-term considerations as to how much to budget.

How Many Hours?

Working out how many hours your SEO consultant will dedicate to you is another important way to gauge the value of their product. Top providers will have to charge around £95 per hour to meet their profit targets. Divide the monthly price you’ve been quoted by 95 and you’ll have the number of working hours you can expect to receive each month. It’s not definitive, but should be a good way of assessing value.

Long- and Short-Term Thinking

Consider whether investing in these types of packages will deliver enough new sales in the short-term to cover the monthly outlay. The effectiveness of SEO packages can vary but if the provider can deliver on the short-term, think about whether you can expect to see that same incremental profit surge over a longer period, and whether a chosen package can deliver new customers at the rate of investment.

Making the Decision

2 Men facing each other discussing
Knowledge is power when it comes to making a decision on what SEO packages are worth, and the information above can be a crucial way for businesses to gauge what is the correct amount to be spending. It’s difficult to overstate the importance of what a good provider can deliver to any business, but being armed with the knowledge of what a package should cost is the first step towards effective optimisation of your website.

A Good Trick That Helps Attract Customers To Your Products

By aheadWorks

With so much competition in today’s constantly growing business world, you should try your best to catch your customers’ attention. If you want to be successful, you’ll have to restlessly look for the new ways to attract your customers to your business. So when we talk about getting customers’ attention, we talk about a process that never ends. Additionally, it is even harder to keep customers, anyway.

Taking in consideration your type of business and your goals, you may find a way or two that work best for you. However, if your primary task is to get a customer’s attention for any specific, special or time sensitive products, you can rely on the efficiency of the pop-up. When an unaware client visits your online store, the pop-up is a great tool for setting this visitor’s eyes to a number of goods. The Pop-up+ module brings you an opportunity to inform your clients about all important events by various features of a popup window.

Let’s have a look at your business needs. Do you have a sale for certain period? Or maybe you have a brand new merchandize coming? Or, perhaps, you’d like to promote a newsletter or an event? No matter your reasons are, the Pop-Up + extension is a great solution for your online business.

person-reading-book-during-daytime

If you pursue these goals, you can attach this module to your Magento store. With the help of this extension, you can easily include this type of advertisement to your site. Forget about hiring a programmer with a high level of web programming knowledge. Instead, all you have to do is fill a simple form with the information you need. You can use any text, pictures and colors you wish. You can also adjust the size of your pop-up and set the time of this pop-up’s display duration.

The pop-ups can be placed on your home page, product page, CMS, checkout and customer account pages. With the Pop-up module you’ll reach the wide group of your visitors with no problem. If you aspire to catch your customers’ attention, it is crucial to do your best to let them know about news, promotions, merchandize in an attractive and catchy way that is impossible to pass by.

Using the Pop-Up + extension you’ll don’t have to worry about your products’ display - with the help of this module you’ll be sure that your promotional information is available to your clients as quick as thought.

Checkpoints to Convert Your Web Site into a Marketplace?

by Jijitia Juby

When it comes to the online shopping world, eBay and Amazon seem to be the most reliable eCommerce marketplaces with millions of products and brands out on sale. eBay, Alibaba, Amazon, and other such marketplaces are the multi-vendor eCommerce platforms that allow different land-based sellers to create an account with the website and start selling their product easily and quickly.

Checkpoints to Convert Your Web Site into a Marketplace?

In return, the vendors are supposed to pay a small percentage of commission on every sale they make through the marketplace to the website owner and operator.

The Significance of Marketplace

Nowadays, people consider selling their products through marketplaces rather than creating their own website. After all, they don't have to look after their website's management and SEO work. Everything is handled by the marketplace owner.
Online marketplaces are specifically known for drawing the attention of millions of users across the world.

Checkpoints to Convert Your Web Site into a Marketplace?

On the other hand, a single-selling website receives only a handful of views and that too when the website operator invests in proper on-page and off-page SEO strategies. The question is why should you consider turning your eCommerce website into a marketplace? How can this strategy benefit your business in the long run? Let's find the answers.

Why Turn Your Website into a Marketplace?

When you run a Marketplace, you are inviting other vendors to create an account with you and use your platform to catch the attention of their target audience.

Checkpoints to Convert Your Web Site into a Marketplace?

Not only does this help the marketplace owner to reach out to a wider audience, but it also boosts your revenue. Let’s have a look at the benefits of turning your website into an eCommerce marketplace.

Sell a Wide Range of Products

Checkpoints to Convert Your Web Site into a Marketplace?

If you don't have many products and services to sell, the marketplace can turn out super beneficial for your business as it allows others to sell their products through your website. Now that you have different vendors selling a wide range of products, your website will attract customers with different interests. Rather than selling limited products, why don't you offer an array of brands and increase the popularity of your website?

Control the Commission Rates

One of the best advantages of the eCommerce marketplace is its ability to generate significant revenues for you. All you got to do is allow vendors to access your platform and sell their products through your marketplace. That's it!

Checkpoints to Convert Your Web Site into a Marketplace?

They will manage shipping, product packaging, and delivery. The more products they sell through your platform, the higher the revenues you earn. You can adjust the commission rates according to your suitability. Marketplaces are the best eCommerce platforms for people who don't have their own website to sell. You only need to manage the marketplace, payment, and commission rates.

Install the Extension to Convert Your Website into Marketplace

In order to convert your regular website into the marketplace, you can install extension or plugins. These extensions will convert your place into the eCommerce marketplace, and enable all the options that allow vendors to sign up with your website and start their selling services.

Checkpoints to Convert Your Web Site into a Marketplace?

Once you install the extension, you will notice an increase in the traffic and revenues as more people will come to your marketplace. The more products you offer, the more traffic your marketplace will receive and the higher revenues you will earn.

Mistakes New Youtubers Make & 15 Tips to Avoid Them

This is a must watch for anyone looking to start a YouTube Channel. Some great tips of what to do and what not to do... have summarised the tips below - but don't skip watching as the content is really valuable.

Tips - Mistakes to AVOID and what TO DO when starting a YouTube Channel:

  • Pick your niche! Don't try and publish a wide variety of content. It's important to attract an audience that know what they are subscribing for. Too much variety will slow your growth.
  • Don't feel entitled. Once your channel takes off and the number of subscribers grows - it doesn't mean you can stop putting the effort in. You still have to earn every subscriber as they can disappear as quickly as they first appeared.
  • Focus on making better videos and putting out better content than spending all your time trying to promote the video through all the various social media channels.  You have to be 'out there' for while before your channel will sky rocket.
  • Put a lot of focus on your thumbnail. This will be the deciding factor in whether someone clicks your link or not.
  • Don't be afraid to put your content out there. You could waste years being 'too scared' to publish. Forget the fear and just start!
  • It's fine to model a successful YouTuber - but don't imitate them to the point that you lose your own authenticity. Stay true to yourself as this is what will attract your audience. To stand out on YouTube you have to be yourself.
  • Don't get stressed about the analytics - you can get lost in the numbers and this will draw your focus away from creating great content! Focus on the content and the subscribers will grow.
  • Stay focused!  Especially when you are starting out. Make sure you have enough time to build your YouTube channel. Allow more time as you will need more time at the beginning.
  • Don't do it alone. Find other people who do the same kind of content that you could reach out to and share the journey with. You can help each other grow, interview each other, help each other.
  • Enjoy the process of enjoying content. Don't get too bogged down in the analytical and data side - make sure your core focus stays on the content.
  • Don't let yourself get so crippled by judgement and rejection that you spend too much time editing re-editing and making it perfect.
  • Don't assume to know what subscribers want to watch. What works for some channels and videos might not work again for you. Make sure you stick to what you enjoy and love to do and you will attract the right kind of subscriber
  • Don't worry too much about always sticking to your schedule and having to upload - life can get in the way sometimes and if you miss an upload it's not the end of the world.

Some pretty good tips there, I'm sure you'll agree. Go check out Jeven Dovey's channel to see even more videos about YouTube Marketing.

Funnel Basics! What is a Sales Funnel and Why do You Need One?

This is a great question and one that I am really excited to answer.

I am assuming you are here because you are looking for ways to grow your business and ultimately get more sales and income. You might have tried lots of things already but still haven’t found that one thing that has really made a difference or helped you to scale.

You have probably heard of marketing or sales funnels and might even know about Click Funnels (an awesome piece of software that makes funnel designing easily accessible to everyone! You can read more about Click Funnels here….) but have no idea what it’s all about and so you are here, to find out more…

Well, welcome. This will be a game-changer. Let’s start by talking about what a sales funnel is anyway.

What is a Sales Funnel ?

In its simplest form, a sales (or marketing) funnel is the sales process that moves your prospective customers from initial contact with the company right through to making a purchase.  They are fully automated systems that will capture leads, convert those leads into sales and then nurture your relationship with your customers so that they continue to buy from you and become lifelong fans.

It will include relevant and logical cross-sells, up-sells and sometimes down-sells to make the customer’s journey more meaningful and to give the business the opportunity to encourage repeat purchases, average cart value and lifetime customer value.

All of this will work towards combating the rising ad costs involved in acquiring new customers.

The sales funnel process will include driving traffic to the funnel, setting up various opt-in and landing pages, creating mailing lists, sending follow-up and broadcast emails and of course all of the content (written, video and images) used within the funnel.

So in essence, a sales funnel can be seen as your entire online business.

Sounds good, hey?  But still not quite sure what I mean ….?

Let me explain even further, using Russel Brunson’s [Owner of Click Funnels] sketch of a sales funnel [taken from his book Dotcom Secrets] which is a simple and effective illustration of how the sales funnel process works.

The cloud above the funnel (labelled Traffic) represents the wide audience of potential customers for your products or services.

The idea is that you use Bait to attract people into your funnel - this could be a free cheatsheet or eBook, a free product (+ shipping) a discount coupon and so on. It could also be a highly discounted product, it doesn’t have to be free - just tempting enough to get customers in the door. This is usually the lowest-priced item in your value ladder.

Those that sign up for or purchase your bait, will be lead to the next page of the funnel which will show a front end offer. This product or service will represent the next logical step and a percentage of customers will purchase this from you (your bait would have been created with this next solution/purchase in mind).

Those that purchase will be moved onto the next step of the funnel, which will show the next product or service in your value ladder. This will offer even more value and will also cost more. Not everyone will purchase this, but a percentage will.

And for those that do, they will again be moved deeper into the funnel to the next product or service which again costs even more and offers more value.

As you can expect, at each step of the funnel, prospects and customers will drop out. But they can be added to different email lists that continue to nurture them back into the funnel at a later date when they are ready to purchase.

At this point there will be no advertising costs as you have already acquired these customers / subscribers so your profit levels will explode. This is where the real value of sales funnels lies.

Example….

The below image shows one example of  how a funnel is laid out.  In this example, the audience is directed directly to a sales page.

Customers who purchase are then directed to an up-sell page and then onto a final page showing a range of other products they might be interested in.

For those that decline the upsell - a down-sell offer is shown to try and entice them into something of lower value, but something they are still like to need or want.

Regardless of where customers drop out of the funnel - they are automatically added to a follow-up sequence.

[If you want to take a deeper dive into this I’d recommend reading Dotcom Secrets, there is currently a special offer to get this book for free, check out the link here

You Already Have A Sales Funnel - What Does yours Look Like?

All businesses have some kind of sales funnel in place whether they realise it or not. This could be as basic as having an online store that customers purchase through. They might also have a sign-up form and occasionally send out emails or newsletters to their customers to promote offers and other products that their customers might be interested in. But that might be it.

And many businesses might not even do that. They might simply sell through the store and take no further action.

The complexity, detail and stages of the sales funnel (e.g. sales process) will depend on the business owner and whether the sales funnel has been created intentionally or not.

Sales Funnels Versus Traditional Websites

Sales funnels have always been around, but more and more companies are realising their value (compared to traditional websites) in their ability to automate and scale the entire sales process. A sales funnel is kind of like your own in-store personal assistant, but equipped to do a much better job of converting sales (when set up correctly).

If you are only using a website, you are relying on your potential customer staying on the website and not getting distracted and disappearing as quickly as they landed. You might have a pop up asking them to opt-in to your email list but aside from that, you are leaving them to their own devices, not helping them through your sales process and just hoping that they make a purchase.

Bounce rates tend to be high and if you’re not using a facebook pixel (What’s a Facebook Pixel?! Read more about that here...) you have lost that person completely and have no way of communicating with them in the future.

The sales funnel on the other hand (which is also made up of web pages), is designed with the customer journey in mind and is an automated system that takes your customer by the hand and leads them through a sales process to get them to make a purchase.

It prevents the customer from getting distracted by taking them from one page to the next, in a logical and intentional order.  The sales pages and copy will work to convince the customer that they need the ‘thing’ you are selling and will even overcome any likely objections that your customer is likely to be thinking.

And more than this, it will guide your prospects up the value ladder of your products or services (from your lowest selling item through to your highest selling item - all through a series of automated email sequences and follow-up emails)

An Example of a Sales Funnel

The sales funnel is usually made up of different pages, or stages, to lead the customer from their initial interest through to purchase.

There are HEAPS of different funnel templates and they can be as simple or complex as you like. You really are unlimited with what you can create and this will ultimately come down to what your end goal is.

For the purpose of this beginners guide, we will stick to simplicity and look at a very basic model just to illustrate how a funnel could work for your business.  This type of funnel will have 3 pages - A Lead Page, Sales Page and Upsell Page.

  1. Lead Page (Opt-in). This will be the first page in the funnel,  where the business offers something for free in exchange for a prospects email address (lead magnet). The purpose behind this page is to collect email addresses and identify those that are likely to buy, from the wider audience that you are targeting.
  2. Sales Page. Once the prospect has subscribed, they will then be taken to a sales page that promotes a product or service that is related to the lead magnet they have just signed up for. This page will typically include a sales video or sales script, testimonials, product or service information and the offer - making a compelling case for the buyer to purchase. This page helps to identify the hot buyers and generate some sales to pay for the cost of the advertising.
  3. Upsell Page. Just before the payment completes, the buyer is shown another ‘special offer’ which will also be related to the first purchase and must also be something they are likely to need. It needs to be both logical and irresistible so that they buyer will buy on impulse, having already made the decision to get the credit card out (which is the hardest part!). This page identifies the ‘hyper-buyers' whom you want to create a strong relationship with (via email marketing) so that you can continue to serve them in the future.

This is a basic funnel format that you could use for the sales and marketing of your own business. Funnels can be more complex than this and if customers decline the upsell, they can be shown a downsell option which is another product or service that they are likely to need, but for a much lower investment.

There are unlimited options, with the ultimate result being that you will convert more of your leads and prospects into paying customers than you would from simply relying on a website.

Now that you have come to the end of this post (well done for getting this far, by the way!), you hopefully understand the basics of a sales funnel and how it can help, or rather change your business. And if you’re keen to get started -  you probably want to know HOW you can get a sales funnel set up ASAP?

In anticipation we have written the next post to help out and show you how You can create your very own sales funnel, relatively easily and quickly - and without having to hire expensive freelancers or marketing agencies.

How to Build Your Own Sales Funnel - With Click Funnels

I wandered into the world of sales funnels only a year ago.

And now, I’ll admit, I’m a bit of a funnel-holic!

I had always admired the clever websites and web pages that had fancy pop-ups asking for my email address and lead to some really cleverly designed web pages, that always had a strong sales message that got me hooked in.

They looked like websites but weren’t and I had no idea how everyone seemed to be doing it.  It seemed way too complicated for me to ever be able to create and I assumed I would need to outsource it to an expensive marketing agency if I ever wanted to do the same.

But I was wrong. I discovered the truth. It is much more simple than that! Yey!!

And I could do it by myself! With no experience….

I had discovered Click Funnels.

What is Click Funnels?

Click Funnels is an amazing piece of software that simplifies the entire sales and marketing process and will allow you to create your own sales funnel.  It will also allow you to integrate the entire sales funnel process with other 3rd party systems required for a fully automated and seamless sales system.

Things that you would have traditionally had to do separately, e.g website hosting, creation of landing pages, integration with lots of email autoresponders, list creation and segmentation, email broadcast and follow up sequence, delivery of information product etc - can all be set up within Click Funnels.

Not only this, but it comes with plenty of pre-built templates and its’ simple drag and drops design editor has been made with even the most technophobic users in mind. Click funnels make sales funnel design easy - and more importantly, accessible to everyone!

Why Click Funnels Trumps Other Software Out There

There are other software options available in the market, but what makes Click Funnels so unique is its owner Russel Brunson. He is well and truly integrated within the entire culture of the company and has a huge passion for teaching, inspiring and helping other entrepreneurs find success.

Yes, he has training courses to sell and yes, he has software subscriptions to sell - BUT - he is genuine and provides an amazing amount of value with everything he does sell.

When you sign up to Click Funnels (You don’t have to commit straight away, you can get a free 14-day trial here….) you get access to a whole range of free training, which is actually worth paying for.

The training doesn’t just show you how to use the software but will teach you the core marketing principles and fundamentals required to create highly converting sales funnels.

He will provide you with a strong foundation in what drives and motivates customers in their purchase journey and how you can attract them, incentivise them and offer them so much value and service that they become an army of loyal fans - ones which will want to buy from you, time and time again.

So How does Click Funnels Work?

Russel Brunson has made Click Funnels really easy to understand, navigate and use. When you first log in you are prompted to play a game. Don’t underestimate the value of this game as it will help you learn about funnels and the programme and if like I was, you are completely new to sales funnels - this simple game will really help you out!

In addition to this there are plenty of resources in the help centre, on Click Funnels’ YouTube channel and throughout Russel’s blogs and other media platforms [Don’t worry, you will be connected to all of these links if you sign up - he’s a marketer after all! ;o) ]

Once you are in the platform you can use a simple drop-down link to Build a Funnel that will give you two options;

1) the Cookbook Builder Process and
2) the Classic Funnel Builder.

If you are new to sales funnels I’d recommend the cookbook as it will help you choose the right funnel for you. For this example, I have selected a template that has been designed for e-Commerce, with the goal of selling a product with a value between $37 - $297.

You will be presented with various pre-built funnel templates that you can use straight away (many for free!) and you simply choose the template you like the most and it will be installed into your account.
Once your template has been installed, you just need to edit each page.

On the left-hand side you will see a number of pre-built pages.

  1. Sales Letter Order Form. This could be replaced with a video sales letter, it would be completely up to you. This is where you write a compelling sales message to your target audience, including any customer testimonials that could help sway their decision and an outline of your offer.

  2. OTO. This stands for One Time Offer and is used as an immediate upsell. This is your opportunity to sell a second item to your audience, whether this is a related product (one that they will need, having purchased the first product) or you can simply encourage them to buy more of the first product, with an enticing offer price.

  3. OTO. You can use just one or two OTO pages depending on what you have available to upsell. This is another opportunity to identify your hyper buyers and to increase your average cart value. The more you sell through the OTO pages, the more profit you will make as these customers have already been acquired through the first offer.

  4. Offer Wall. This can be a thank you page offering one last upsell or affiliate link, or for e-commerce stores you can present an offer wall giving your customer another opportunity to purchase something from your range of products.

Now you have your funnel template in place you can edit each page individually. Simply move around the page, changing the text, images, videos and any other content, but keeping the page format the same.

You can easily change font styles, backgrounds, colours and pretty much anything in there. It is pretty self-explanatory and easy to navigate - but if you get stuck with anything, there is a help button which will take you through to a detailed help section (with lots of short videos) or a contact form.

Once you have finished editing your template pages, within a short time you could have a sales funnel looks like this:

The last thing you would need to do is set up all of your integrations; e.g. payment processor, email autoresponders, links to any free gifts or information that you are providing, Facebook Pixel for tracking and so on. [This will all be covered in a separate post]

Hopefully this has given you just the slightest glimpse into how amazing and user friendly this system is and I have done it justice!

So what do you think?

Now you see how easy it is to create your own sales machine - are you tempted to give it a go yourself? If so don’t forget to grab a free 14 days trial first!

If you are serious about getting started with sales funnels or you need help getting your sales funnels to work and convert - I’d strongly recommend the OFA Challenge. It is a 30-day challenge that will take you on a deep dive into how to create and optimise a highly converting sales funnel.

It is an intensive programme which includes training from Russel Brunson and his top coaches providing everything you need from marketing fundamentals and principles, offer creation, sales copy, funnel design and so much more.

It’s a ridiculous price - equivalent to a meal out - rather than the thousands of pounds he could have easily charged for it.  If you want your business change and you are ready to make it happen - you need to get involved in the OFA Challenge!

But see what you think before you commit - check out the FREE 30 Days Summit below.

I’ll be writing more articles on this topic so make sure you sign up to our newsletter and come back again! In the meantime….Want to know what you should do next?
