Creating Wealth with Affiliate Programs: Getting Rich with No Money Down

The question I am asked the most is, "How can I create additional income streams if I don't have any money to get started?" This article is going to teach you exactly that - how to create additional income streams using the Internet - without requiring any money to get started...

If you search for Work-at-Home or Make Money Online, you will have literally millions of websites to visit that promise you the next best way to get rich... for a fee...

You can spend hundreds of dollars researching all of the business opportunities on the Internet. But more times than not, the money you spend only supplies information on everything else you need to buy to get started.

Well, have no fear! I am going to show you some of the secrets I use to creating income streams with no money down!

I realize that a lot of you are living paycheck to paycheck. Everything coming in, quickly goes right back out. My intention of writing this article is to help you break out of this cycle with Affiliate Programs.

What are Affiliate Programs?
Affiliate Programs are used to promote a product or service through a cost-per-action advertising model. Simply put, website owners will pay you a commission for every person you send to their website that either buys their product or service or perform some other type of action such as filling out a survey...

Amazon.com built a huge following by utilizing Affiliate Programs. A website owner simply put a unique link on their website that Amazon.com provided them. Every time someone clicked on their unique link and ordered a book, the website owner would be paid a commission - usually a percentage of sales.

Banner ads or text ads are used to drive the traffic to the affiliate website. For example, one website might say "Click here to order Sean's Latest Book." When someone clicks on the link, it will go to exactly where they can order the book at Amazon.com.

High traffic websites benefit greatly by this business model since they can drive a lot of people to the affiliate websites which results in a lot of commissions being earned.

But what if I don't have a website?!
I know, you don't have a website, right? Or maybe you do, but you don't get a lot of traffic? I have good news...

BLOGS = FREE TRAFFIC
Over the last couple of years, a new type of website has come onto the scene. They are called BLOGS. A blog is like a personal diary of articles that you post that people can read and comment on.

A couple examples:

http://ulosefast.blogspot.com

You can use a BLOG to drive visitors to affiliate links without having to have a website. If you look at the fortunedreams blog above, you will notice that at the end of every article is a link that says "Click here for FREE Information on Working at Home-FortuneDreams.com"

If you click on that link, it will go to an affiliate link which redirects you to a free survey to fill out.

For every person that completes that free survey, I get paid $2.25. Not too bad, eh?

So How Do I Do It?
Step 1: Open a free affiliate account. Go to www.magmoney.com and join the affiliate program there. This affiliate program will allow you to earn $2.25 for every free survey completed.

Step 2: Login to your affiliate account. At the top of the screen, you will see some TABS. Click on the tab that says "CREATE YOUR LINKS." Then click on the link that says "CLICK HERE To get banner and text link code to advertise our three different websites."

The first website listed will allow you to refer other people to join the MagMoney Affiliate Program. For every person that signs up through your link, you will get paid 75 cents for every person THEY get to complete a free survey. (You might not want to promote this one until later - when you have a friend that wants to do what you are doing... You can then get paid on their efforts!)

The second website listed will allow you to send traffic to a weight loss website. If you want to create a blog about weight loss, then you will want to use this for your affiliate link.

The third website listed will allow you to send traffic to a Work at Home website. If you want to create a blog about Working at Home, then you will want to use this for your affiliate link.

Step 3: Decide which website you want to promote from Step #2, and click on the CLICK HERE that is next to it to create your unique affiliate link.

Once you do that, you will get a list with your unique affiliate link along with about 10 banner ads. Disregard the banner ads since we will not be using them on the Blog.

Step 4: Write down the affiliate link that is listed under the heading "Basic Affiliate Url:".

If you are doing a weight loss blog, your link would look something like this:

www.mailorderwork.com/gl/g.o/USERNAME/http://www.ulosefast.com

(Except all on one line.)

Step 5: Go to Blogger.com and create a free Blog account.

Step 6: Go ahead and create your first blog, whether it is for Work at Home or Weight Loss.

Step 7: Post articles to your Blog with your affiliate link posted at the end of every article you post. (Refer back to http://fortunedreams.blogspot.com to get an idea of what to post.)

Do the same thing I did with the "Click here for FREE Information on Working at Home-FortuneDreams.com" But make sure you link it back to YOUR unique affiliate link that you wrote down from Step #4.

Where Do I Find Articles?
The easiest way would be to simply copy them from one of my blogs listed in the examples above. Or visit one of the free article websites such as www.SubmitYourArticle.com . There are literally thousands of articles for the taking. You will want to search for articles that fit the topic of the link you are promoting.

For example, if you are promoting the Work at Home link, you would want articles pertaining to Work at Home.

Step 8: Promote your Blog! There are hundreds of Blog Directories and RSS Directories that you can submit to that are free of charge. When you create a blog at www.Blogger.com, you also get a free RSS feed of your Blog. You simply add /atom.xml to the end of your Blog.

For example:
The blog http://fortunedreams.blogspot.com/ would be http://fortunedreams.blogspot.com/atom.xml as an RSS feed.

This allows you to submit it to all the RSS and Blog Directories that you can find...

Step 9: VERY IMPORTANT: After EVERY article that you post to your blog, go to www.pingomatic.com and submit your blog. Click on ALL the Services to Ping and then submit pings.

This tells many of the popular Blog directories that you have a new article posted. The more articles you post, the higher your ranking (and the more traffic they will send you!)

So be sure to do this after every article you post.

Step 10: Post new articles on your Blog several times a day. Try to post at least a dozen or more new articles on a daily basis to achieve the best results.

So there you have it! A completely, absolutely free way to start generating income with the Internet from the comfort of your own home...

Of course, you can repeat the process over and over again creating as many blogs as you want. You can also use this method with any of the hundreds of other affiliate programs on the Internet.

Utilizing this method, you should be able to build up an extra income from several hundred dollars a month to several thousand - depending on how hard you work at it.

Now that you are earning a little bit of pocket money, put $250 aside for a special opportunity to turn it into hundreds of thousands of dollars with the ultimate leverage!

How To Create A Massive Contact List, Overnight!!

You need to write about what people are interested in.

Not "5 Ways To Murder Your Mother-In-Law". OOP's that is not nice of me to think of that :o)

Or "How To Make Dandelion Wine". OK, maybe you are interested in that...:o)

But you get the idea. Write what is a hot topic that everyone is talking about or asking about. If it's about murder, go somewhere else :o)

Don't know what they are looking for? Ask them. Ask your friends or family what they would like to know more about in your subject field. Or if it's marketing put up a survey or poll form on your website or send emails to your contacts.

Browse hot forums and see what everyone is talking about. The messages with the most 'views' or 'posts' are hot topics.

See what are the top keywords or keyword phrases at www.wordtracker.com This is an excellent place to visit for optimizing your website, mini-site pages for the search engines! Get the trial version and if its worth a few bucks subscribe.

Here are a few report ideas:

1. Tips/Ways

This is the easiest to create as all you need are a handful of themed tips with 3-7 sentence explanations. Presto! You have a free report!

2. Tutorial (step by step)

This is probably the report most people want. Find a hot topic and provide step by step tutorial on solving a problem or do something and you will become very popular...overnight!

3. Resources

This is the EASIEST of all free reports to write. Heck my granddaughter, Kylie, could probably write one :o)

Might take some time doing research but it's super easy.

"10 Ways To Link You Website"
"8 Tools Every Webmaster Should Have In Their Toolbox"

You get the idea.

4. Interviews

This is another easy one because someone else does all the writing for you!

Develop a list of 'burning questions to ask the 'expert'.

Send the expert your list with a good reason to answer them. At least a nice bio with a link to their website and the right to distribute the report in any way they want.

What is probably the most important step in creating your free report? The HEADLINE! As with ads, unless you capture the attention of the reader in the first 1-2 seconds you won't have many subscribers.

Here are a few headlines:

"7 Quick Tips To Overnight Profits"
"7 Quick Tips"
"7 Quick Tips I Made $650 With"

Which one would you pick? The first? In my humble opinion, it would be the last. It has two eye-catching factors. 7 and $650. People will know its not a long-drawn-out report but 7 quickie type tips and everyone would like to make $650 by knowing these tips.

Bottom line. Remember the old worn out by don't ever forget the famous radio station, WIIFM or WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME. Keep that in mind every time you write a headline and you will see 100's or even 1,000's subscribing to your free report.

How to Create a High Conversion Squeeze Page for Building Your Opt-in List

Want to build a huge opt-in list to leverage your Internet marketing efforts but don't know where to start?

The effectiveness in which you build your list will depend on the landing page that receives your traffic. The most effective kind of web page you could promote that will build your list the fastest is a squeeze page.

A Squeeze page is not merely a web page that provides a capture form. A squeeze page's primary purpose is to capture the information of website visitors, mainly their name and email address.

The squeeze page is created to draw the focus and attention of the visitor to applying action to one thing, opt into your list for more information. Once they are on your list you will have the ability to follow up with them on a later date and multiple times.

Some true squeeze pages have been known to have conversion rates of 30-60% and some even higher. The conversion rates mentioned here are the percentages of visitors that choose to opt-in to a mailing list by filling in the form fields available.

Now that we have clarified what a squeeze page is and its purpose, we can now go on to what factors are necessary for creating a high conversion squeeze page for building a list of subscribers.

The heading is the most important for it is the first contact point with your website's visitors. This is where you must captivate them with an attention-grabbing headline which will compel them to continue reading your text. Your headline must be clear of what you are presenting and your copy must connect with your visitors on an emotional level.

Benefit driven words are needed in your heading because your prospect will want to know how they are going to benefit. In other words, they want to know, what's in it for them? Your Web site visitors will only continue to read on if they feel that you are offering something that can help them in some way or give them something they want.

The body text is also very important because this is where you compel your web site visitors to opt-in for more information. It is crucial to reveal to them how the product or service you offer can satisfy a need and desire such as help them lose weight, make more money or become more successful.

Your squeeze page is not going to be lengthy so you'll want to focus on the top three to five things your market is hungry for and present to them the answer or solution that will satisfy their hunger.

For your text, all you need is a small paragraph or a few bullets that will stimulate enough interest and desire for what you are offering them. If they feel they can benefit in any way they will want to know more information and will subscribe to your list to get it.

Some of the most successful capture pages are not long and wordy but are small enough that the whole web page can fit inside of the browser window. This has been more effective for many marketers for the purpose of capturing people's information quickly and effectively.

A squeeze page should limit the number of choices your prospective customer or subscriber can make. Not all capture pages need to do this but for the purpose of ensuring that your visitors first opt-in, the squeeze page should stay close to the format mentioned above. This will give your potential subscribers two simple choices and reduce confusion and help prevent them from changing their mind.

One option that your visitor has is to opt-in and the other is to leave your website. If your copy is compelling and your message is clear, many of your visitors will choose to opt-in to your list instead of leaving your website.

One component of your site that can greatly affect your conversion rate is the words you have to appear on your submit button. Instead of using the word submit or subscribe, you'll find your conversion rate will rise if you use an action phrase that will express how your visitors will benefit if they click on the button.

You want to compel your visitors to click on the submit button and using words like subscribe or submit can turn people off.

Use an action phrase that is written in their point of view to persuade them on a personal level such as "Send my Free report 'lose 30 pounds in 30 days!'" or "Free instant access now!" and so on. This is a valuable element to test and you will not want to overlook it. I would also suggest observing what other marketers are using on their submit buttons to help you come up with your own ideas.

Now that you know how to create a high conversion squeeze page, make sure you implement these methods and do your own tests with fonts and colours used. That being said, make sure that basic web design principles are followed and that the web page is attractive to your eyes.

If you find your eyes are not following the text naturally or squint while reading, you may have to make some adjustments to your web page. Dark text on a light background is a good rule to start with without getting into too many details for the purpose of this article.

Most importantly, if you put to action the advice you received from this article, and actively promote your squeeze page, you will see an incredible increase in the number of opt-ins you receive to your list.

Intuition - How to access, develop and use it in your own life

Intuition - the ‘sixth sense’ - has had a rather chequered history. At various times it was considered a gift bestowed on only a few, a curse leading to persecution or a form of woo-woo imagination children were taught to suppress. Although some individuals seem naturally wired for strong intuitive abilities - as others are for athletic or musical talents - that kind of intelligence can be enhanced by most sensitive people.

What form does intuition take?

There is nothing airy-fairy about intuition. It is an additional sense you can access and consult for valuable insights and direction in life. It could be a gut feeling, hunch or sense of inner knowing. Things are perceived and known - sometimes with inexplicable certainty - without conscious processing. This inner knowing often comes out of the blue, when suddenly a whole picture or an action you need to take become clear.

Picking up subtle energetic clues from the environment, other people and even future events, intuition extends beyond the official five senses and can be mistaken for imagination. It’s easy to discredit the inner whispers and ignore them. But often this comes at a price and leads to regrets: I knew it wouldn’t work out but I did it anyway. Now I’ve got to sort out the consequences! If only I’d followed my instincts I wouldn’t be in such a mess now.

Trust your vibes

If you have to make a decision but are unsure which way to go, your logical mind may not be sufficient to penetrate confusion, self-doubt and uncertainty. In that case, consult a different source of wisdom within yourself, your own inner compass. Based on your own individual experience and perceptions, it will point you in the direction that is right for you, no matter what other people might want or what appears to be favourable at the time.

Going beyond purely mental processing, intuition also includes the subconscious mind and your higher functions.

Access your intuition for decision-making

Choose a time and space where you can be quiet and undisturbed.

Think of a question or an issue you want to contemplate. When you are new to this process, don’t seek answers for life or death issues or try to fathom the future. Allow yourself to become more confident (and competent) in accessing and evaluating your inner wisdom before tackling the really big questions.

Write the question/issue down. Keep it simple and brief.

Feel your feet in contact with the ground. Focus on the area of your heart. Breathe calmly and evenly. Let the body soften and release any tension. You should feel relaxed and comfortable, contained within yourself, in a quiet receptive state of mind, gently tuning in to your own inner wisdom.

Hold your questions lightly in your mind and wait. Don’t force anything. Be open to whatever comes. It could be a feeling, words, ideas, knowings or thoughts that seem to come out of nowhere. If it remains hazy, give yourself a little nudge: How do I really feel about the whole situation? What do I need to know? What feels like the right thing to do? Don’t push, let answers arrive by themselves.

Write down anything that will help you remember what came up. Do not think about it, judge or dismiss it. Just record the information from inside you, nothing else.

Ask yourself follow-up questions as they occur to you. Wait, be open to any answer that may come. Don’t dwell on it. Just record.

Finish when you have gathered enough material or found your answer. Get back into your normal state and take a look at what you wrote down. Only now should you analyse what came up in the process. Ask yourself questions like these: Does it feel true? Does it resonate with me? Does it seem the right answer/ way to go? Is it supported by what I already know about the situation? Does it feel right? Keep probing to make sure the information and insights you received are valuable and ring true rather than fantasy. Until you have learnt to understand and trust your inner wisdom, treat it with caution, as a guideline rather than gospel to be followed blindly.

Find your own way

Practising the above steps will help you become more proficient at accessing your own inner guidance. But there are many other ways of working with intuition. Find the one that works best for you. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t seem to be getting any worthwhile information or if nothing happens at all. You may not be in the right state or the time is not right for insights to flow.

Intuition is a different sense of seeing, smelling or hearing. It will not always be summoned at will, right there and then when you search for its wisdom. Nothing may happen during your session, but then on the bus to work, an insight pops into your head! Accessing your own inner guidance requires patience and trust that one way or another the right answers will come to you if you remain open to that possibility.

What should you consider when choosing an affiliate program? You need to think about two key things: what business are you in and what can the affiliate program provide to your customers.

No matter what business you are in, the largest investment you make will be customer acquisition. If you have your own product and have acquired a base of satisfied customers, then single product affiliate programs could work very well for you.

However, if your business is acquiring customers for other businesses, that is, purely affiliate programs, then a better choice for you could be affiliate programs with multiple products or services. This will help you to capitalise on your investment in customer acquisition.

The key to choosing successfully is to ensure that the affiliate program offers products that meet the needs of your potential customers. Coupled with this is the need for the products to be high quality and for the supplier to provide excellent customer service. Remember, your credibility is on the line every time you refer someone to buy through your affiliate relationship.

Some of the other factors I consider when evaluating affiliate programs include:
Is the affiliate program a reputable business? You can check out a business you are considering a relationship within a variety of ways. Talk to the Better Business Bureau in your local area or a similar body. In addition, I find web sites that monitor affiliate programs to be worth looking at. The best I have found is Associate Programs www.AssociatePrograms.com. Allan Gardyne pulls no punches and tells it as it is.
Does the program enable you to share in the lifetime value of the customer? Great programs will give you commissions on all future purchases of the customers you introduce. This is where the real profits are. These types of programs, in effect, allow you to partner with the supplier.

Does the program reward you for introducing other affiliates? This type of program is commonly referred to as a two-tier program. Often your customer may become an affiliate also and you will be rewarded for this.

Is the supplier interested in your success as an affiliate? The top affiliate programs engage in a process of coaching or information sharing to help you succeed. Affiliates are provided with regular newsletters outlining what is working for successful affiliates and providing updates and details on new products.

Is the commission reasonable? Commission rates on commodity products such as books and CDs are low. This is because there is a very little margin in the products due to competition. Look for products that have a commission rate of 15% or more that are not commodities - that way you will be better able to recoup your customer acquisition investment.

Are statistics provided? The higher the level of statistics provided, the better off you are. This will enable you to measure the success of your marketing efforts and to determine the best places to invest your marketing dollars. Insufficient statistics is a sign that the affiliate program is not sufficiently interested in your success.

Are new products being developed regularly? To get the full value from lifetime commissions, new products need to be introduced on a regular basis. Without this, lifetime commissions can be worthless. Also, look for consistent high quality in new products introduced.

How frequently are commissions paid? The more frequently commissions are paid, the better off you are. Good quality affiliate programs will pay you monthly. In some situations, commissions are not paid until a certain level is reached. If the program you are considering has this requirement, check how many sales need to be made before the level is reached.

Have you read the affiliate agreement? This is a key area that you should look at. Some affiliate agreements are totally in favour of the supplier. Others are more balanced. Some agreements restrict your ability to promote similar products from other suppliers. Most agreements have anti-spam provisions. Look for agreements that are fair and that do not stack everything against you as the affiliate.

While there are other factors that can be considered when choosing an affiliate program, following the suggestions above will help you to make superior business choices that will lead to long-term success.

Individuals who have their own website will generally display a banner or link to a certain website. The linking website is often a business that sells something. Affiliate programs are profitable to website owners because whenever an internet user signs up for something or buys a product, they are paid commission. Master Affiliate Marketing - 7 Ways To Take Your Earnings To The Next Level

It's a fact that affiliate marketing is one of the quickest ways to get a web business up and running. After all, you don't need a website, you don't need a list and you can start advertising someone else's product just 5 minutes from now.

And the great thing is you really can make money by doing it. But the truth is, if you are making money from a particular product you're promoting in this fashion, you're almost certainly leaving money on the table.

To explain why we need to look at your average affiliate marketing strategy:

-- Pick a product to promote with a high affiliate payout ($50 or more)

-- Set up a pay-per-click campaign to promote your affiliate link

That's it! Those two steps are what the vast majority of affiliate marketers do. And that's why 95% of all affiliate payouts are made to just 5% of the people doing the marketing... because those top 5% are doing far more to earn their commissions than just a simple PPC campaign.

You need to understand that if you're fortunate enough to be making money from the product you're promoting just by doing those 2 basic steps, then it's almost a racing certainty that you're missing out on a mass of additional income.

Let's look at how you could increase your commissions and future related sales on just one product you're already making money from:

1. Build a 'name squeeze' page to capture your prospect's name and email address. It's a fact that virtually all product sales are made after the customer's fifth visit to the website.

If you're not capturing your prospect's details, how are you going to make sure they go back to the sales page using your affiliate link? To greatly improve the chances of this you can set up a 7-series autoresponder to automatically send your lead additional information and reminders about the product they're interested in. This approach will keep the product fresh in their mind.

2. Build a website reviewing the product you're promoting, including a newsletter to catch your prospect's details. You can give full details about how the product will solve your prospect's problems, giving an impartial review of the features and benefits with some real-life results.

The newsletter will allow you to keep in touch with your prospects in the same way as the name squeeze page method.

3. Offer additional bonuses for buying through your affiliate link. This gives your prospect a reason to buy from you, especially if they know you're going to make a commission from the sale.

The important thing here is that your bonus products are related to the product you're selling. I mean, there's no point advertising a bonus book on 'how to make your parrot talk' if your initial product is about training dogs to perform tricks.

4. Create video tutorials on how to use the product you're promoting. This works especially well when you're promoting a software product. You can show people how to get started as quickly as possible without them having to read the manual.

The vast majority of people learn visually, so they're much more likely to use your videos than read the manual supplied with the software. You can even tie this in with option 3; give your prospect free training videos if they buy through your affiliate link.

5. Make your own product to cross-promote. It can be an add-on to the product you're promoting as an affiliate. Again, you could easily offer it for free or at a discounted price if they buy through your affiliate link.

6. Promote related products via email. This works by creating an 'A ' Grade list out of your newsletter and squeeze page sign-ups, i.e. the people who have actually gone on to buy the product you're promoting.

It's a known fact that people who have a proven track record of buying online are more likely to buy from you again. You can easily recommend to them a related product that will further enhance their original purchase, resulting in more affiliate commissions for you.

7. Tie all of the above together. You don't have to use just one of the methods above. Use all of them.

Create a name squeeze page, build a review website with a newsletter, add some bonuses to your affiliate link, make some video tutorials, develop your own related product and promote other affiliate products via email to the lists you've built with your name squeeze page and newsletter.

But before you do any of this, make sure you're promoting a product that sells. After all, spending your time doing all of the above for a product that is poorly supported, doesn't work properly or has a high refund rate is going to be time wasted.

I know how to get a blank stare from just about any e-commerce web site owner. All I have to do is ask them about their web site marketing plan!

When I ask them about their web site marketing plan, I get that look. First, the eyebrows go up. Then the eyes glaze over for a minute. And then the stammering begins.

"Uh, well, you know - I have my URL on my business card."

"I, ah, I'm going to start an e-mail newsletter."

Some of them may even mention something about "search engines."

But practically no one has a plan! And you know how the old saying goes: "Failure to plan is a plan to fail."

Most small business owners I talk to are frustrated. They think their web site is a big waste of money. An "online business card." A "marketing expense" that doesn't return any of its investment.

And no wonder:

You've spent thousands on pretty web design. You shell out dough each and every month for web site hosting. You may even be paying a webmaster to update the web site regularly. And month after month, year after year, the sales barely trickle in.

Marketing your web site is frustrating. It's confusing! So we end up doing what all of us do when we're frustrated and confused: deal with it "later." And later never comes.

Define Your Goals: With no clearly defined purpose, your web site can't succeed. Be specific with each goal, adding both an amount and a timeframe.

Take a Snapshot: How's your web site performing now? Know your traffic stats and your "three magic numbers."

Define Your Market: Who are you talking to? Be specific about who your products are for, and where these customers exist.

Get Them There: Build targeted web traffic by getting your target audience's attention and creating an ongoing dialogue.

Turn Site Visitors into Customers: Once you've gotten them to your web site, make sure you seal the deal before they leave. Know what they're looking for, and what information they need to make a purchasing decision. Give it to them, then ask for the sale.
